The English Language School would like to welcome Bridget McConville to Concordia University. Bridget McConville has a B.A. in Spanish from Marquette University. In 1999, she received a Master's degree in Education with an emphasis in English as a Second Language from the University of Minnesota. After she graduated, she taught English in Ecuador at the Center for Interamerican Studies and traveled in South America. She also taught English as a Second Language at Century College in St. Paul, Minnesota, where she incorporated community awareness and service into her classes. She first became interested in teaching English as a Second Language when she worked as a paralegal to help immigrants who were seeking political asylum. Currently, she teaches at the English Language School at Concordia University and is a newcomer to Portland.
