Aloha and Welcome N409 students! Can you believe the year is half way over? This session will be an awesome one! We have students from 13 different countries represented. The countries represented this term come from Japan, Korea, Taiwan, Vietnam, Thailand, the Czech Republic, France, Italy, Indonesia, China, Cambodia, Laos, and the Philippines!
We are offering two electives this term, which are English Pronunciation and TOEIC class and test. We will also be offering the institutional TOEFL test in September. The deadline to register for the TOEFL test is Thursday, August 6th. There are still some spaces available for the TOEIC test but please register today to be granted a spot to take the test! Contact the NICE office for more information.
Community Day will take place on Friday, August 7th and there is no school on Friday, August 21st to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Hawaii becoming a state. This day is called Admissions Day. There is also no school on Monday, September 7th in honor of Labor Day.
Let’s all have a wonderful term!
