IALC Celebrates 25th Anniversary

The Intensive American Language Center at Washington State University is celebrating its 25th anniversary this year. It is hard to imagine that we have been helping students to achieve their dreams for this long. Some of you were not even born when the IALC was first operating! Many things have changed, but some still remain the same. We still share the hope that we can help students to achieve their language goals so that they can reach for higher dreams. We have seen some of our students move from the IALC and become teachers at WSU. We have seen brothers and sisters, husbands and wives study together and move on to bigger and better things. We have seen some of our students go to WSU and become so active in the WSU campus that they now are in student government positions. No matter what your experience has been at the IALC, you have still been touched by this place and we have been touched by you. This session is our biggest ever. We are now serving 148 students from many different countries. We have more countries represented here now than ever before. If you have been a student here and would like to send an email to one of your teachers, please check the Alumni website on the IALC web page and you might find your teacher's profile there. Take the time to look at our website if you haven't looked in awhile. There are some new pictures there for you to see. We have also added several new teachers to our faculty and you may want to look and see who is here now. We hope that all of our students will remember their time at the IALC with fond memories. I know that the teachers here hope that you all attain your dreams and we hope that we played some part in helping you to do that. Happy 25th!
